This letter is to anyone considering letting Amy Bader help you.

PLEASE GO FOR IT!

I was a 59 year old high energy woman that has Fibromyalgia.  There is a long story on painkillers, MDs, FNPs, pain specialists & endocrinologists that led me to be crashing down physically.  When I finally found Amy, I was so exhausted & fatigued that I didn’t have enough energy to take a shower for 3 or 4 days at a time.  I was foggy, confused, couldn’t find the words I wanted, had gastro distress, pretty much everything except headaches.  I was unable to function at a normal level. I spent my days on the couch sleeping or watching TV. Not my normal activities!

Thank God a friend from church had heard about how she helped another woman.  The first time I got Amy on the phone she amazed me by listening for a couple minutes then asking questions no one else had even asked.  Much of it didn’t even seem like it was pertinent but it turned out to be.  I immediately downloaded all the forms to fill out & was surprised at how much information was not about my physical health. When I finally saw her I just sat in the chair crying because I felt like I was dying & had been ignored by the doctors who were supposed to help me.  My poor husband was beside himself to try to help.

Amy told me my adrenal glands were shutting down & they were the cheerleaders for the other glands so they were shutting down also.  I have never been a natural food person but had dieted for my weight my whole life.  Amy put me on a detox & anti-inflammatory eating program which was totally foreign to me & my husband but I felt my life depended on eating what she said.  She also gave me many natural medicines even though I argued with her about the medicines I was on. Within a couple weeks I noticed my bladder was functioning better.  The next month I began to sweat after 30 years & started the detoxing of my body. Every month thereafter I felt better & better.  After 6 months Amy mentioned that she had thought my adrenal glands were so damaged that they wouldn’t respond to her treatment. Thankfully they did.

I didn’t vary from that program for 1 year & still eat mostly what she says I should.  I saw Amy every month for almost 4 years.  She has gotten me off of 2 antidepressant medicines, most painkillers, sleeping pills & taught a totally ignorant person how to eat to live.  At this time 5 years later I am mostly pain free except when I do too many events in one week.  I am on very little medicine except for my restless leg syndrome.  My husband & I square dance every week, go to Masonic & Eastern Star meetings monthly plus special events, go to Bunko group, astronomy club, church, eat out with friends & have 20 or more people into our home for dinner & games.  We are very healthy even when dealing with the physical things that hamper us some.

I know it is expensive to pay for her services because the insurance doesn’t cover it but she has given me my life back in many ways.  I would highly recommend her to anyone for anything.  She & Lisa are caring, loving, helpful ladies that will make you feel like a part of their family. I am not shy so Amy has my permission to give my phone number to anyone that wishes to talk to me about her services.  You can’t find a better doctor anywhere.  I only go to a GP because Amy can’t get some of the tests I need occasionally.  But she is why I am alive & kicking!

Thank You Amy Bader! You are a life saver to me!

Dr. Bader turned around my chronic digestive health issues. It takes time, but here I am years later feeling great, and I have her to thank for setting me in the right direction for diet and daily healthful habits. She always took time to talk and thus treat the “whole person" and not just the most glaring symptom.

I believe Naturopathic Medicine is the health care of the future. It has been very helpful working with Doctor Bader, I have learned and changed so much. She is caring and understanding. It’s empowering to take charge of my life and health with her support. Amy and Lisa make a great team and are very professional. I strongly believe in the idea of treating the whole person and primarily focusing on a Natural approach. Thank you.

I have always been a man who ran from medications, I was always scared of side effects. I began to have some problems when I got into my seventies, and after I saw how she helped my wife, I asked Dr. Bader if she could help me, she said she thought she could. I must admit I am a stubborn old cowboy but she has helped me a lot. Dr. Bader and Lisa are two of the nicest most accommodating people you will ever meet, they are just like family, they are both there for us if we have a problem or questions. I highly recommend Dr. Bader to anyone who has had problems getting relief from their health problems.

I am a 72 year old women who for 5 years had a problem with pressure in my chest, I went to several doctors had lots of tests done and was given prescriptions that made me feel worse.

I read about naturopathic medicine and thought maybe there was still hope out there for me. I looked on the internet for a naturopathic doctor and was very blessed to find Dr. Amy Bader.

I got some relief after a few visits but Dr. Bader wasn’t happy with that and did some changing in the drops I was using and soon I was without the pressure in my chest and still without pressure after 4 years.

I have to say that changing my diet etc. has made my thinking clearer and I have an all over better feeling.

Dr. Bader and her office manager Lisa are very knowledgeable, accommodating and great people to work with.

Dr. Bader doesn’t keep you on the hook either, she tells you when she feels you don’t need to see her for a while.

If you want to feel better and get to the root of your problem and not just mask it with prescription drugs I would highly recommend Dr. Bader.

Suffering with uncommon ailments became a norm for me until seeing Dr. Bader. Nervous but hopeful, Lisa, Dr. Bader’s Office Manager puts you at ease the minute you walk through the door. Minutes later, when seeing Dr. Bader for the first time, sitting across from her in her office, seems like you are now a partner in your own health and well being. This is was what I knew I needed.

Three days later, I was feeling better, and by the end of a week, my major complaint (which I was convinced I needed surgery to resolve) was “no more". I continued to see Dr. Bader for several months to tweak minor issues.

I recently returned to see Dr. Bader following an intense grief period in my life, accompanied with a lot of physical pain. I put off making the appointment, for no other reason than I felt I was “too busy”. Again, I felt better in weeks.

You are heard, you are cared for, and you are made to feel special, and even better, you are made to feel well. I see it in the patient who emerges before me, and I see it in the patient who greets Dr. Bader after me, and I feel it in my own body.

A year ago, at the recommendation of a friend, I decided to see Dr. Amy Bader for some ongoing health issues. From my very first visit, her kind and compassionate approach put me at ease.

Dr. Bader obviously loves what she does, and is very thorough and tenacious to uncover and identity underlying issues, not just treat the symptoms.

I have the utmost trust and confidence in Dr. Bader. My only regret is I waited so long to make my first appointment!  I look forward to many more years of continuing whole body wellness under Dr. Bader's care.

Also, I'd like to mention Dr. Bader's lovely office manager, Lisa. She is very kind and helpful, always willing to answer any questions I have in a timely manner. Lisa is an obvious asset in Dr. Bader's practice, they complement one another and create a harmony not often found in the healthcare community. Because of this, my visits are always a positive experience. Thank you!

Amy has been my Naturopath for several years. In three words, she is amazing! I was having trouble with many chronic symptoms from hypothyroidism, adrenal fatigue, osteoporosis, allergies and menopause. She helped me clean up my diet and got me on the supplements and meds I needed. She helped me to feel normal again and she didn’t mind answering my many questions. I am in great shape now thanks to her. I still always consult her with all my health issues. I have recommended her to my sister, niece and many friends. I would definitely recommend her to anyone suffering from chronic diseases or anyone just wanting to get healthier.

In January of 2009, I was very ill.  I had sharp stomach pains, severe constipation and violent vomiting, for nearly a month.  My medical doctor gave me a half-gallon jug of liquid laxative that didn’t work and made my stomach pains worse, and diagnosed me with a urinary tract infection that I didn’t have.

My symptoms continued to worsen.  One night at midnight, I wrote a will.  I truly thought I might die.  The next morning, I found Dr. Amy Bader on-line.  I called her voice mail in tears and left a message pleading for help.  She returned my call within the hour, and we talked for 45 minutes.  Amy was genuinely concerned, and shared some vital tips, over the phone.  Right away, I knew I had found a life-line.

When I arrived for my appointment, Amy was ready for me right on time.  She shook my hand with a friendly smile and introduced herself as “Amy” rather than Dr. Bader.  I felt comfortable immediately, and knew that we’d be working as a team to improve my health.

Amy reviewed my extensive new patient questionnaire, right before my appointment.  This saved a lot of time, so the hour we spent together was extremely productive.  She listened very carefully to everything I told her, and asked a lot of questions.   She kept encouraging me to tell her more, as she wanted a complete picture of my health.

Amy changed my diet, which helped me feel better immediately.  She also ordered lab tests which revealed I had a gluten intolerance.  We figured out together, that MSG was making me very sick.

I mentioned that I had dry eyes.  I had been to three different doctors over a period of five years, who had all recommended eye drops (which didn’t help).  Amy explained that dry eyes were a sign of a magnesium deficiency, and could also be exacerbated by gluten.  She treated me for this and the problem vanished.

Amy treats the whole person, not just physical symptoms.  She figured out that my sleep problems stem back to my abusive childhood.  My mother used to beat me in the middle of the night, making me afraid to sleep.  Amy has helped me unravel a lot of things, which continue to help me heal both emotionally and physically.

Not only is Amy a meticulous, attentive, intuitive, and exceptionally competent healer, she also truly cares about her patients.  Just knowing that she cares is another way that she helps me to heal, because I didn’t always think I was worth it.  Amy’s nurturing demeanor assures me that I am, at every visit.

I think Dr. Amy Bader might have saved my life, back in 2009.  Today, she continues to improve my health, my life, and my feelings of well-being.

I’d like to see everyone get the same kind of wonderful help that I got!

I have worked with Dr. Amy Bader for close to 5 years. On our first appointment, she was able to view my health challenges and incidents that I described that occurred 20 years earlier and show how they all might have common causes.  She taught that food is medicine and helped me to learn more healthy habits.  On a recent MD visit, my primary care physician was very pleased that my weight had remained stable since that time and all my blood work is great.  Dr. Bader is encouraging and personable and I really enjoy working with her to continue good health.

Amy Bader is much badder than bad in the sense of far better than good.
